POSiTION: SANITATION SUPERVISOR-SWING

DEPARTMENT: SANITATION

DIRECT REPORTS: SANITATION STAFF

REPORTS TO: DIRECTOR OF FOOD SAFTEY AND QUALITY

Full-time position: Swing

Starting pay: DOE

This position will require a pre-employment drug test.

Duties:
Sanitation planning/scheduling.
Staffing for swing sanitation.
Implement and monitor chemical inventory levels for sanitation
Implement tools and metrics needed to evaluate efficiencies and costs.
Assist with and optimize capital improvement projects following installation.
Implement and execute sanitation process improvement projects.
Implement and execute cost savings initiatives.
Implement and execute training programs for leads.
Implement the employee handbook.
Assist in the development and implementation of microbiological training and diagnosis.
Support and provide communication to other departments.

Qualifications:
Excellent communication skills, ability to present material and ideas to all levels of the organization
Displays a positive and respectful attitude with all customers, external and internal.
Above average mechanical aptitude; hands-on problem solver
Good balance of analytical, technical and social skills
Superb organizational skills and attention to detail
Basic computer skills (Excel, Word, ERP, IPAD) and mathematical aptitude
Previous experience with microbiological trouble shooting.
Proven track record in developing team members and increasing subordinate’s skill sets.

Education and/or Work History:
2-3 years of relevant sanitation experience in the food industry.
Classes taken in Food Science or Chemistry are preferred but not required
Minimum of High School Diploma
Maintains good attendance record
